Structure and sections
Experience, skills, education and a short summary, under plain headings. Hiring software files your resume by its headings, and recruiters skim for the same ones.

Paste your resume or upload the file. You get honest feedback on its structure, contact details, length, bullet points, dates and gaps, what hiring software may misread, and the skills it shows.
What we check
Experience, skills, education and a short summary, under plain headings. Hiring software files your resume by its headings, and recruiters skim for the same ones.
An email and a phone number at the top, in the body of the page, plus a LinkedIn link. Some systems skip details placed in a page header or footer.
Enough to show what you did, short enough to read in a minute. We count words and pages, and flag roles with no achievements or too many.
Each one should start with an action verb and, where you know it, carry a number. We flag pronouns, filler like “responsible for”, lines that run on and lines too thin to count.
Every role needs dates in one style, newest first. We point out breaks of six months or more, so you can explain them before anyone asks.
Columns, tables, text boxes, images and decorative symbols can scramble what a parser reads. Upload your PDF or DOCX and we check the file itself.
The skills and tools we recognise on your resume. Pick a target role and we list the ones those jobs often ask for that yours doesn’t show yet.
How it works
Questions
Yes. You don’t need an account and you see the whole report. To keep it free for everyone, each network can run a limited number of checks a day.
No. It’s read once to give you this feedback, then discarded. We don’t save it, keep a copy or write it to our logs. If you sign up later, you upload it inside your account.
The checks are fixed rules, so the same resume always gets the same report. When a few bullet points could be stronger, up to three of them, with their job titles, may go to a small AI model on Amazon Web Services to suggest example rewrites. Each rewrite must pass our rules: no new numbers, tools or claims.
No. Applicant tracking systems don’t give resumes one shared score, and no checker can see a particular employer’s settings. We check what most often trips up hiring software and recruiters, using the same rules Whizply uses to polish resumes, and tell you what to change.
Upload the file you send to employers if you can. Then we also check its layout: columns, tables, text boxes and images. Pasted text gets every other check.
